I use some plugin to run this blog I would mention and suggest to other. I've choosed them carefully so I think they are the best around.
I wrote some plugins for my persnal use some time ago. They are here to be download if you want evalute them. I think some are pretty interesting. All are very light and the code is simple if you need to hack them.

My useful WordPress Plugins
- Apache Access Logs - created access log in the Apache Http Server style inside the folder wp-content/logs (my provider doesn't make available tha raw access logs).
- Seo Made Simple - Specify the meta title and meta description of every single post and page. Extremely light.
- Related Post - A modification of the orignal Related Post Plugin that add the title to te index. Some code was rewritten to be more performant.
- Quick Galleries - Have you a set of images? Put them in a folder and use this plugin to publish them in a page or in a post (there is an example). (no more supported, see Quick Tag Manager)
- Double Curl - Each pair of curly brakets is replaced with a greater tham o less than symbol. so you can insert any kind of html code even when using the WYSIWYG editor.
- Target Blank - All the external link opern in a new window.
- Include - This plugin let you to include a file (even a .php script) in a post or in a page
- Linkify - This plugin auto link every plain text urls
- Useful Function - make available two functions to print the latest posts and comments
- Search Cloud - create a cloud of search terms used in search engines to reach your blog
- Quick Video - a way to put video in the posts, very light (no more supported, see Quick Tag Manager)
